Sky's Wrong Way Round Charity Journey Gets Underway

Stephen McCready & Alan Johnston of Sky Developments started their 4420 mile journey to Cadiz and back for the Fields of Life Charity today to raise money to help build a school in Uganda.

The pair left The Green House in Holywood, Northern Ireland's first carbon zero home in typical wet Ulster weather. Their spirits were not dampened by the inclement wether though the stop to take the Dun Loaghaire ferry to Holyhead was welcomed as a great opportunity to dry off half way through their first leg of the Journey.

Both directors of Sky commented on the huge level of support they had recieved from their sponsors and regular updates are now being posted on the official Wrong Way Round website at www.wrongwayround.net

Those who are on twitter can follow the journey with daily text and picture updates on the official Wrong Way Round twitter site at http://twitter.com/wrongwayround

Sky's Wrong Way Round Team recently hosted a 'Spanish Night' fundraising event at TAPS 2 in Cotton Court, Belfast that was attended by over 70 people to raise money for the charity campaign. Everybody at Sky would like to thank all those who attended for their generosity on the night.
