Movilla High 'Design A Logo' Competion Winner Anounced

Stephen McCready of Sky Developments today attended the official Sky Developments 'Design A Logo' prize giving ceremony at Movilla High School with Jim Shannon MLA.

And the winner is...

Pupils of Movilla High School waited with baited breath this morning for the announcement of the winner of Sky Developments 'Design A Logo' competition. Sky, who are building Northern Ireland's first energy efficient affordable housing project next to the School on the Donaghadee Road in Newtownards, tasked pupils to design a logo for the development.

Stephen McCready of Sky commented 'with such a high standard of entries it was very hard to choose an overall winner, we are delighted to have pupils from the area involved in what will be a very important piece of artwork for the scheme.' Jim Shannon MLA referred to the positive change for the area with the construction of the new energy efficient homes and that the responsible use of resources was an issue that the pupils at Movilla should be taking great interest in.

The overall winner of the competition was Rachel-Lee Fox (photographed with Ian Brown, Headmaster, Stephen McCready & Jim Shannon MLA and the runners up.

Rachel received a Canon digital camera and runners up received iPod Shuffle MP3 players. The winning logo will now be used for all promotional material for the Skyline Buildings and can be seen on this website by visiting www.skydevelopments.com/Skyline/
