At Sky Developments, we believe we have a responsibility to protect and care for the environment - and as our company is based around energy efficient building methods we take our responsibility very seriously.

All Sky Group Companies comply with all legislation, regulations and standards. We take great care to assess the environmental implications of our companies processes and have established methods of measuring any environmental impact that may occur.

When at all possible we use recyclable materials in all our building projects and at a site level ensure we preserve as much of the existing plant and tree life as possible.

In the event that change is inevitable, we take measures to re-plant mature flors and fauna, and work closely with the local community, planners and government to ensure that the effect of building on the surrounding area is always minimised.

Existing buildings of character are retained wherever possible and integrated into our developments to minimise the visual effect on the surrounding environment.

Minimisation of the environmental impact of our business continues through ongoing research and development. Our Green House, Northern Ireland's first carbon zerohome is currently being monitored by the University of Ulster and Action Renewables.
