Monitoring Programmes

At Sky we aim to constantly innovate. We partake in extensive research and development in relation to the modern methods of construction used in our building projects. Every new technology implemented by Sky has been analysed by experts at local universities including the University of Ulster and Queens University, Belfast

Part of this innovation process involved continual monitoring of existing projects to analyse and assess the effectiveness of applied technologies over time. An example of a current monitoring project is ongoing presently at the Green House, Northern Ireland's First Carbon Zero Home. At present Action Renewable, in conjunction with the University of Ulster, are implementing a 12 month independent monitoring programme to assess the efficiency of the property and technologies therein.

We understand at Sky that claims, projections and concepts must be backed up with hard facts, from independent auditors, using built, working examples.

At Sky we believe in constant improvement and value the input of independent industry professionals to assist us in providing the end user, in effect the building owner, with the highest quality, most efficient building possible.

We will continue to monitor and assess our various completed projects to ensure that every new building from Sky exceeds the effectiveness of the last.
